One of my favorite movies of all time. The kind of film you have to watch more than once to fully grasp the concept and the kind of film that makes you think, wonder, and question. The cinematography is beautiful and the acting is wonderful. I don’t normally choose just ONE film to be my favorite cause I find films to be like personalities; each have their flaws and strengths and uniqueness, but this film really sticks out to me the most because as a filmmaker and an artist, I believe it embodies the kind of art I long to produce in my life. So the day I make a film half as creative, stunning and intriguing as this one, I know I’m doing something right in my life.

The last time I trained in Taekwondo, I was a 2nd degree black belt. Over 4 years have passed since I left and I can honestly say that I miss it terribly. Nothing in my life has impacted and changed me in the magnitude that Taekwondo and the people I’ve met there have. I miss my old family. I miss having something to be proud of. And I miss the agility, wisdom, courage, and endurance I once had. As of today, I will begin taking steps to improving my mind, body, and spirit and regain the worthiness of my 2nd degree black belt, which has only been collecting dust and will once again wear around my waist.
